Local products Wine and cartagène
You can taste a variety of quality wines in the private wineries and wine cooperatives of the Vidourle river valley. There are wines of local appellations as well as sparkling wines, and many other specialties.
For many years, the wine-makers of the Vidourle valley have been working toward the production of quality wines, using quality varietals (Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Chardonnay, Grenache, Mourvèdre), careful selection and the use of modern techniques in the process. Today, their prize-winning wines rival better known appellations, but at a more reasonable price.
